Well, the holidays are now over so it’s time to get back to our regularly scheduled program and make Asian dishes once again! This week, we show you how to make a favorite of yours–spicy & salty squid; it’s actually pretty easy… and tasty! Nom nom nom!

Ingredients:
– squid (duh)
– flour
– chili powder
– chili pepper
– salt
– oil
– 2 eggs
Instructions:
0.) If using fresh, raw squid, make sure you clean and gut them thoroughly first!
1.) Fresh or frozen, cut the squid into little rings.
2.) Beat the 2 eggs in a bowl.
3.) Dip the squid rings into the beaten eggs.
4.) Then dip them into the flour.
5.) Deep-fry in oil at about 360 degrees F until golden brown.
6.) Remove squid from oil and absorb excess oil with paper towel.
7.) In a pan, heat up some salt, chili powder, and diced chili pepper without any oil until the salt starts to turn brown.
8.) Sprinkle heated spices over squid in a separate bowl and toss to flavor. Repeat if desired and necessary.
9.) And there you have it: a super simple recipe for a Chinese food staple–spicy salty squid! Nom nom nom!
